ECMetAC Days 2018 will be organized in Poznań, Poland, from 3 to 5 December 2018.

The main purpose of ECMetAC Days is to provide comprehensive information on recent results achieved within the current year of the ECMetAC network and to discuss directions for future research.

Contributions will cover research topics related to complex metallic alloys and compounds ranging from basic to application-oriented research:


Contributions related to gender mainstreaming in materials science will be also most welcome.



Special Guest of ECMetAC Days 2018


EF Professor Elzbieta Frackowiak from Faculty of Chemical Technology at Poznan University of Technology will be the Special Guest of ECMetAC Days 2018. Professor Frackowiak is a scientist with outstanding achievements. She is interested in interfacial phenomena at the electrode/electrolyte interface in energy storage/conversion devices. In 2011, she was awarded the Prize of the Foundation for Polish Science, which is the highest and the most prestigious scientific prize given by the scientific community in Poland. She is a vice-president of the Polish Academy of Sciences. 
Her lecture on December 4th will open the ECMetAC Days 2018, and is part of the gender mainstreaming program.
