published on 02 May 2012

Dear all,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you the 2nd International Symposium on Intermetallic Compounds in Methanol Steam Reforming.

The webpage for the Symposium can be found at

The symposium is organized by the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and TEMAS AG, grant holder of the COST action CM0904, under participation of the COST action MP0903.
The symposium also comprises the meetings of the Working Group, Core Group and Management Committee in the framework of the COST action CM0904. The scientific sessions take place from June 27th till 29nd. The meetings for the COST network members will take place on June 29nd, 2012.

The symposium covers all aspects of the application of intermetallic compounds as catalysts. Special emphasis will be put on the following topics:
•Metallurgical synthesis
•Nanoparticulate synthesis
•Chemical bonding
•UHV investigations
•In-situ stability

The symposium will include both invited and contributed papers. Contributions are welcome on any of the topics mentioned above. Prospective authors are requested to submit a one-page abstract. Please use the abstract template available on our homepage. The deadline for abstract submission as well as for hotel reservation within the special contingent has been extended till May 1st, 2012.
